Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily report of original Notes not received. Follow up with the settlement agent and/or originator for status and provide detailed updates with the status for all to view in our platform.
  • Answer emails and/or calls from the custodial team regarding collateral issues that pertain to the Note, allonge or signed doc package for investor delivery.
  • Follow up with original Note returns for unsaleable loans and discuss with AE and Senior Management the next step in the process for the originator.
  • Manage return wire report for receipt of partial or full return of funding wires.
  • Check Outstanding Purchase Report for any reconciliations to be completed, and checks sent, where funds deposited to us the day before, but the PA was uploaded after/before business hours.
  • Pull funding source payment registers from previous day to confirm additional loans were not added from last register processed.
  • Request purchase advices from originators/fulfillment companies when investor wire is received but unidentified.
  • Monitor funding source payment registers and pull throughout the day updating the funds received tab as needed.
  • Prepare reconciliation for loans when investor purchase wire and investor PA is received as indicated in ready for processing status on the Outstanding Purchase Report after the funds received date status is updated.
  • Assist originators on purchase issues, including distribution of additional funds sent to lenders after loan purchase by investors.
  • Cross train and assist the Wire Team with daily functions as needed.
