Future’s Fashion, Beauty, and Homes Vertical (FBH) seeks a Sales Director to join their talented, dynamic, fast-paced media sales organization. The US commercial FBH team primarily looks after key brands, including Who What Wear, Marie Claire, Homes & Gardens, LivingEtc, and Real Homes. You will report directly to the Vice President of Sales. This individual contributor role focuses on categories such as Liquor, Travel, or Retail verticals. Experience within those categories is preferred.
What you’ll be doing...
As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for finding ways to meet and exceed sales goals and driving revenue across the Future including Who What Wear, Marie Claire, Kiplinger, Homes & Gardens, LivingEtc, and The Week. You will be responsible for selling a variety of products and growing revenue across:
Digital advertising, branded content, social, events, audio, video, influencer marketing, and leading by leveraging our existing offerings and creating new ideas capable of breaking through across your account list.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Develop a GTM portfolio strategy that will meet and exceed revenue targets
- Increase the number of advertisers working with us
- Day-to-day management of your account list, including maintaining a high volume of weekly agency/client meetings, RFP and proactive proposal work, delivering media plans, ensuring all campaign delivery, troubleshooting, and delivering on all campaigns. Respond to and service clients, ensuring any and all issues are resolved with white glove service.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, creatively solve problems, think on his/her feet, and be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in new situations.
- Work closely with pre-sale teams to conceptualize and sell creative and data-led solutions to meet advertisers needs across all products, including branded content, social media, newsletters, influencer opportunities, audio, video, experiential, events, and display Media.
- Sell key tentpoles
- A large focus will be placed on retaining, growing and building strategic new partner relationships to attain revenue goals
- Proactively engage, strategize and cultivate deep relationships with senior-level clients and agency members.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve..
- 7-8 years in sales roles with a demonstrated record of owning and growing revenue. Strong history of exceeding aggressive monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales quotas
- Wide range of sales experience including branded content, influencers, social monetization, events, partnerships, video, audio, and digital advertising
- Relationships with decision-makers for major online advertisers and online media buying agencies
- Track record of success in creating and executing fully integrated marketing plans
- Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on, with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude
- Mission-driven; emotionally connected to the company, community, and vision
- Relationship-oriented; passionate about building communities and brands and has high-level relationships across key clients and agency contacts
- Demonstrates a high level of dedication, urgency, and unrelenting drive to win
