Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Network Environment Management - Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5 and/or similar technologies (10-15+ years)
  • Virtualization Environments Management - VMware, Azure, AWS, ZEN and/or similar technologies (10-15+ years)
  • Storage environments – Infinidat, PureStorage, EMC, NetApps, Azure Blob, AWS S3/Glazier
  • Windows environment - Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies
  • Linux Environments - CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL and/or similar technologies
  • Scripting - Powershell, Python, Perl, Bash and/or similar technologies (5-10+ years)
  • Database Administration - MS SQL Server, Azure DB service, any other pertinent relational database
  • A High-Level of understanding of infrastructure products and services and, more importantly, the ability to translate those technologies into value-added services for the supported business community
  • Proven experience in overall Infrastructure planning, development and implementation
  • Proven experience in fast paced, high traffic, highly virtualized environments supporting a Hybrid - SaaS delivery model
Responsibilities
  • Be the backbone of our infrastructure by designing, building, and maintaining high-performing systems, networks, and databases across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments
  • Keep our environment secure and resilient through proactive monitoring, cybersecurity improvements, and scalable architecture that ensures high availability and reliability
  • Automate and innovate by streamlining hybrid cloud infrastructure tasks, eliminating recurring issues, and driving efficiency through smart solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, QA, DevOps, and Security teams to shape the future of our systems, from capacity planning to cutting-edge innovation
  • Stay hands-on and ahead of the curve by evaluating emerging technologies, leading system upgrades, and optimizing performance with preventative maintenance and tuning
  • Grow as a trusted expert through on-call support rotations, knowledge sharing, vendor partnerships, and creating best practices that raise the bar for IT operations
