Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of direct fundraising or equivalent sales or business development experience
  • Experience in public health/health care environment or funding for scientific research preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional presence and ability to establish confidence and trust
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Salesforce experience preferred

Responsibilities
  • Create, edit, finalize, and send fundraising correspondence and proposals
  • Maintain PPP CRM data entry and integrity
  • Assist in stewardship plans and activities
  • Collaborate with CDC staff on project proposals
  • Represent the Foundation with external constituencies
  • Provide fundraising and administrative support to senior staff
  • Develop a working knowledge of CDC Foundation and CDC programs
  • Participate in staff activities and projects
  • Undertake other assigned responsibilities
