ReCor Medical focuses on treating hypertension, a condition that affects over 1 billion people globally. The company has created the Paradise System, which utilizes non-focused ultrasound technology to perform renal denervation, a procedure that targets kidney nerves to help lower blood pressure. This system is particularly beneficial for patients who do not respond well to standard blood pressure medications. ReCor Medical is dedicated to clinical research and development to ensure the safety and effectiveness of its technology, and it generates revenue through the sale of its medical devices and partnerships with healthcare providers. The company is also involved in significant clinical trials, such as the RADIANCE Global Program, aimed at validating the benefits of renal denervation for hypertension treatment. ReCor Medical's goal is to provide a new treatment option for high blood pressure, addressing a major health issue with its advanced ultrasound technology.
