  • A Masters Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Supply Chain Management or Procurement
  • Experience working with procurement of Electronics, Mechanical or high-tech Hardware or software
  • Experience in participating in design review processes as a representative of the supply-chain team
  • Experience in negotiating SOWs and bilateral SLAs with large companies
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be willing to relocate to Mountain View, CA

  • As a Global Supply Manager you will report to the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain. You will work closely with Product, Engineering and Operations teams to manage the procurement of goods and services for all your assigned categories and oversee the inbound supply chain of the same categories' material
  • You will work with one or more categories including and not limited to high-tech hardware, software, electrical, electronics, mechanical, physical hardware, tooling, indirect material, services etc. You will directly be involved in supplier relationships, identify new suppliers and partners, evaluate potential partners, and purchase the necessary parts for R&D, operations and production. You will establish and manage relationships with a wide variety of fabrication shops and contract manufacturers
  • You will also manage a team of procurement and supply chain professionals as the team and scope expands to manage these categories. You will consistently safeguard compliance throughout the purchasing/procurement process, ensuring projects and supplier relationships align with procurement policies, fiscal controls, and legal requirements, while driving top value-added benefits for the organization. You will manage the supplier base, ensuring performance meets and/or exceeds defined performance metrics, resolving any disputes or issues, regularly assessing supplier base fiscal health, and mitigating any supplier risk
  • You will lead the negotiation, contract, and selection process with suppliers, ensuring top quality, best pricing, strong delivery conditions, and all other necessary terms and conditions for supplier service and performance, in alignment with sourcing plan, business, and program objectives
  • You will use your deep understanding of the supplier landscape and focus on material cost reduction, quality improvement, and delivery performance. You will provide strong leadership in the recruitment, training and development of top-quality procurement talent, ensuring the high level of performance and productivity
  • You will assist and provide input to your peers and other special projects in several other Supply Chain initiatives including planning & forecasting, inbound logistics desk, inventory management, supplier quality, budgeting and accounting, warranty recovery, policy development, adherence to quality and industry standards, Purchasing & Supply Chain software selection and implementation etc
