Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in advertising, marketing, or sales.
  • At least 2 years of media sales, digital media account management, or auction-based or programmatic campaign management and optimization experience.
Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with clients and develop a deep understanding of their business and objectives to provide customer engagement.
  • Proactively analyze and optimize customers’ advertising campaigns and marketing programs, make strategic recommendations to customers, and ensure client objectives are met.
  • Provide recommendations and training on targeting, implementation, optimization, and reporting.
  • Leverage technology to drive performance-oriented marketing solutions.
  • Advise on creative and content development to maximize performance and delivery.
  • Support customer education, including onboarding and ad hoc client education.
  • Work with cross-functional partners in sales, marketing, finance, technical support, product, product marketing, and insights to ensure customer success, troubleshoot campaigns, and ensure error-free execution.
  • Represent the voice of the customer through collaboration with product teams to influence campaign management tools and ensure customer needs are met.
  • Grow and maintain existing business through renewals, tactical reactivations, and upsells.
  • Co-develop a strategic plan for the book of business with the Account Executive.
  • Use data and insights to highlight the value of advertising, demonstrate return on investment, and recommend optimizations and additional investment.
  • Share ideas and best practices with peers and sales leaders.
  • Travel approximately 20% for client meetings, industry events, and team collaboration.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of auction-based or programmatic campaign management and optimization experience, including social media, Google Ads, search engine optimization/pay-per-click, ad exchanges, or trading desks.
  • Experience in media account management.
  • A demonstrated analytical background and experience with statistical analysis, return on investment modeling, and advertising or media analytics.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide consultative, data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines with little supervision.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Experience working with large customers.
  • Experience working with LinkedIn Ads Campaign Manager.
  • Experience working in the financial services vertical.

LinkedIn shuts Israel office, lays off nearly all 50 staff after $80M Oribi acquisition

LinkedIn is closing its Tel Aviv development centre and laying off nearly all of its roughly 50 employees. A small number will remain temporarily to handle ongoing business activities. The Microsoft-owned company opened the office in 2022 after acquiring Oribi, an Israel-based analytics startup founded by Iris Shoor, for an estimated $80 million to $90 million. At the time, LinkedIn said Oribi's technology would improve campaign attribution and measure website conversions. A LinkedIn spokesperson said the company is proposing changes to some roles to focus its teams on top priorities. The closure comes as Microsoft cuts costs, including a recent move to lay off 9,000 employees, though available information does not directly tie the Israel layoffs to broader restructuring.

LinkedIn launches paid advice sessions for premium users to monetise expertise

LinkedIn is rolling out a new feature for premium business subscribers that allows them to offer paid one-to-one advice sessions directly from their profiles. The tool, called Advice Sessions, enables followers to book and pay for consultations without leaving the platform. Derek Notman, founder of Intrepid Wealth Partners, said the feature could be particularly valuable for financial advisers seeking growth through new client connections. "It allows me to offer whatever services I want and get paid for it," Notman said. The launch comes as North American wealth managers have enjoyed annual growth rates of about 10% in assets under management over the past decade, though only 30% of that growth was organic, with the rest mainly attributable to market performance.

Microsoft's $20B ad business gets new leader as AI reshapes advertising landscape

Microsoft has unified its advertising businesses under SVP Matt Derella, who now oversees both Microsoft Advertising and LinkedIn Ads.
