Requirements
  • HCL Commerce V8 experience
  • HCL Commerce functional architecture (e.g. store, catalog, merchandising, marketing, orders)
  • HCL Commerce frameworks (e.g. Command framework, MVC,)
  • Common HCL Commerce data models (User, Orders, Catalogs, Promotions etc.)
  • HCL Commerce messaging infrastructure (inbound and outbound, REST, MQ)
  • HCL Commerce development environment, GIT repos
  • Good experience with REST APIs
  • Java and J2EE development (e.g. Spring, core JAVA)
  • Experience on Java 1.8 (functional programming will be plus)
  • Develop performant and secure code (incl. SQL) for high-traffic production use, following pre-defined principles and guidelines.
  • Experience with SOLR
  • Nice to have: IBM WXS (Extreme scale), bash scripting, Ansible
  • Good knowledge of WCS tooling (Management Center, Org Admin etc)
  • Knowledge of SOLID principles and how to write clean code
  • Containers are nice to have not must.
  • Experience on AWS (especially AWS EC2)
  • Other tools: Jenkins for deployments, Liquibase for DB resources management, Elastic for logs
  • Demonstrate and develop to HCL Commerce best practices, especially with regards to security and customisations
  • Knowledge of GDPR and how to limit exposure of customer data
Responsibilities
  • Installing, configuring and developing customised code for HCL Commerce (Websphere Commerce)
  • Developing custom Controller Commands
  • Performing the maintenance and modification of programs currently in production
  • Coding new applications from predefined programs specifications
