Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Directly supervise and develop Implant/Sewing Manufacturing Technicians.
  • Manage daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • Coordinate staffing plans, technician assignments, and production priorities.
  • Review and approve technician timecards and attendance records.
  • Manage overtime scheduling, including occasional weekend production support.
  • Monitor production output and proactively address bottlenecks impacting delivery commitments.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, training, and employee development activities.
  • Track and report key manufacturing metrics including throughput, yield, and labor utilization.
  • Lead daily production meetings and communicate operational status to leadership.
  • Develop action plans to improve manufacturing performance and capacity.
  • Recruit and execute training plans for Implant Sewing technicians
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements.
  • Lead and support investigations related to Nonconforming Reports (NCRs), deviations, and manufacturing issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Support Special Manufacturing Authorization (SMA) builds for R&D, verification, validation, and clinical programs.
  • Identify and execute Lean Six Sigma projects focused on quality, productivity, cycle time reduction, and cost improvement.
