Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in Human Resources, with preferably 2 years of experience in a Center of Excellence (e.g., Program Management, L&D, DEI, Org Development, Engagement, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience leading DEI work
- Demonstrated program or project management experience, including the ability to create and standardize content, process, and templates
- Experience in the technology industry is highly desirable, but not necessary; experience in a high growth company is greatly preferred
- Be able to demonstrate awareness and understanding of multiple facets of diversity and inclusion, and how they manifest in the context of a business and in different cultures across the globe
- The ability to listen effectively to multiple and sometimes polarizing points of view with equal intent
- Exceptional communication skills, and the energy & empathy needed to be able to engage with employees across levels, roles, geographies & cultures
- Embody a forward-thinking, adaptable and entrepreneurial spirit, and the flexibility to achieve similar inclusion outcomes across different contexts
- Comfort with constant change and ambiguity, with the ability to project-manage multiple priorities to successful completion
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement key inclusion initiatives that support MongoDB's DEI goals and objectives
- Provide thought leadership, strategic direction, and guidance to the ERG Leads & Executive Sponsors to:
- Develop new opportunities to drive business outcomes
- Execute strategies for retention, engagement and promotion of diverse talent
- Ensure alignment of the ERGs' plans and programming with overall DEI strategy of the company
- Provide effective oversight and guidance on operationalization of the ERGs' strategic plans. This includes:
- Managing a regular cadence of touchpoints between the ERGs and the VP of Engagement and Inclusion and Director of Diversity Recruiting
- Partnering with Internal Communications to develop ERG communications strategy, guidelines and templates; and work directly with applicable ERG members to ensure consistent execution
- Facilitating opportunities for ERG partnership and collaboration with other teams within HR, Diversity and Early Career Recruiting, Employment Brand, Workplace, and other parts of the business
- Leveraging data analytics to identify opportunities, provide recommendations, and measure business impact of inclusion programs
- Facilitating the budgeting process and tracking of spend
- Facilitating ERG leader appointments, onboarding/training, succession, and recognition
- Planning and execution of the annual ERG workshops and summits
- Serve as ERG ambassador to and for the company and other key stakeholders promoting the value proposition of ERGs to better engage with current and future employees
- Build a sense of community between the leadership team of different ERGs so that they are able to come together, collaborate, share best practices and provide business impact at scale
