Requirements
  • At least 2 years of Coordinate Measuring Machine programming experience; DMIS language experience is preferred.
  • At least 4 years of aerospace layout or Coordinate Measuring Machine inspection experience.
  • Ability to read and understand technical data, including blueprints, operation sheets, and inspection reports.
  • Proficiency in using precision measurement equipment.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply advanced mathematics.
  • Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to resolve practical problems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of quality management standards such as ISO 9001 and AS 9100.
  • Understanding of high-level, code-driven computer languages.
  • Understanding of offline programming using a computer-aided design model.
  • Strong computer application skills, including Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning systems.
Responsibilities
  • Create offline Coordinate Measuring Machine programs and test new programs.
  • Troubleshoot and edit existing Coordinate Measuring Machine programs.
  • Support the Inspection department.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by the supervisor.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic scripting or Excel Visual Basic programming.
  • DMIS language experience.
