About the Project
Through the Private Sector Engagement Modernization Contract (PSEMC), Dexis supports the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID’s) PSE Hub to expand and deepen collaboration with the private sector to achieve greater development outcomes. The PSE Hub’s mission is to create the institutional conditions, operating infrastructure, and capacity necessary to expand engagement with the private sector in the United States and partner countries. The PSE Hub works to transform and modernize how USAID does development by institutionalizing USAID’s PSE policy and delivering capacity- and systems-building support for PSE across all sectors, operating units, and countries where USAID operates.
About the Position
Dexis is seeking a Program Support Specialist/Program Analyst to support USAID’s PSE Hub within the Bureau of Development, Democracy, and Innovation (DDI). The Program Support Specialist/Program Analyst will work across a broad range of budgeting; financial; monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL); and policy functions to support the PSE Hub and its recently launched EDGE Fund Initiative.
This is a hybrid position based in Washington DC with an anticipated pay range for this role is an annual salary of 80k-105k USD
Responsibilities
Analysis and coordination
- Provide budget management and support for the EDGE Fund, including but not limited to timely sub-allowance of monies to USAID Missions, Bureaus, and Independent Offices (MBIOs), and the monitoring and tracking of MBIO obligations of EDGE Fund monies.
- Provide financial tracking of EDGE Fund expenditures.
- Manage internal processes to support the EDGE Fund, including drafting guidance for MBIOs to understand the requirements for the EDGE Fund, and drafting congressional reports.
- Perform ongoing and comprehensive data analyses of EDGE Fund utilization including collection, organization, management and visualization of relevant data.
- Identify factors impacting efficient and effective sub-allowance and obligation of EDGE Fund monies and recommend ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop standard operating procedures for distribution, obligation and tracking of EDGE Fund monies.
- Collect input from technical experts on reporting standards and indicators and promulgate guidance to MBIOs.
Customer support for USAID/Washington and Missions
- Act as point of contact for MBIOs for questions related to EDGE Fund budgets, sub-allowances, obligations and expenditures
- Coordinate and participate in learning and knowledge exchange of best practices events related to EDGE fund programming
- Coordinate responses to external inquiries from Congress and other stakeholders as needed
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field such as economics, business, international affairs, finance, social sciences, or other studies with a background in statistics, data analytics, and/or accounting;
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience;
- Demonstrated skill in Microsoft Office or Google Workplace Suite of applications;
- Writing sample demonstrating ability to explain technical concepts to a broad audience;
- Must have or be able to attain a Secret-level security clearance.
Preferred
- Background in organizational data and presenting/analyzing data and trends;
- Existing Secret-level security clearance.
