Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business or related field
  • 5-7+ years of experience working in communications, public relations or marketing; agency experience preferred
  • Proven results securing earned tier-one media placements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptable to changing, fast-paced environment
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Ability to think strategically and be a strong executor
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the director of B2B communication on creating strategic communication plans to support Plume's fast-growing B2B business to meet business objectives, mining and placing stories in key publications
  • Work with the director of B2B communications to build and manage an integrated partner and CSP communications program and strategy that considers all audiences - media, customers and internal sales teams
  • Support Plume's data-driven storytelling efforts (PlumeIQ and beyond) that supports the overall business and positions the Plume brand as the industry leader and authority
  • Work with the team on securing tier-one media placements for larger company-wide announcements, including partnerships, acquisitions, and leadership updates
  • Build relationships with key reporters and analysts with the goal to incrementally grow Plume's following of influencers and generate a steady drumbeat of media coverage
  • Lead message training and coaching of spokespeople in advance of all media engagements
  • Support internal communications strategy as needed
  • Oversee B2B awards and executive speaking opportunities
