  • Lead a team of field sales professionals to over-achieve their business goals
  • Build and execute strategy for the team to win key net new customers
  • Communicate the Presence sales vision, business plans, and organizational updates to the regional Sales team
  • Develop a territory plan for reliably delivering quota and for expanding in the region
  • Manage the performance and professional development of sales executives
  • Develop individual business plans for sales executives to ensure their selling success
  • Ensure Sales team alignment with Presence sales processes, practices, and policies
  • Participate in weekly training on Presence products, processes, and selling techniques
  • Analyze sales activity and results to direct individual performance and to provide input to senior management
  • Represent Presence in the community to enhance business relationships and to increase brand awareness
  • Recruit, interview, and select talent to build a high-performing Sales team
  • This position is remote and may require 50% travel
  • The preferred location for this position is California or Texas. However, any state west of the Mississippi River would be considered
  • Presence is headquartered in New York City with our clients located throughout the U.S
  • All employees commit to being available on-camera for our Core Working Hours, 12:00 pm-5:00 pm EST M-F
Desired Qualifications
  • 3-5 years minimum of direct sales experience on a new logo/new business background with a “hunter” mentality
  • 3+ years of sales management experience of new logo teams
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, follow through, and problem-solve
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Experience building a strong pipeline of consistent revenue to support large geographical territories
  • High level of comfort handling objections and difficult conversations
  • The ability to directly coordinate cross-selling and joint marketing initiatives to maximize needs for both clients & the business
  • Having a client focussed, solution-consultative approach to the role with a longer-term vision of building client connections and expanding on new legal services
  • Confidence in being a brand ambassador, attending market-leading events and conferences with a strong ability to follow up on leads
  • EdTech experience is preferred, but not required
