ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly ambitious Intern to join our People Resources team for our 10-week internship program. In this role, the successful candidate will engage with the HR Leads to support the Operations and Talent Acquisition functions. Success in this role requires a self-starter who is looking to develop an understanding of the People Resources function. Candidates should have the ability to maintain a positive, high-energy demeanor, navigate highly confidential situations, and provide a supreme level of professionalism and attention to detail across all teams and projects.
REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, People & Culture
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Talent Acquisition function by assisting with scheduling candidate interviews, resume sourcing, and updating our ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and LinkedIn page
- Support TSHC engagement activities related but not limited to ERGs and corporate events
- Audit employee files and records; updating and verification of information to ensure compliance is met
- Work on ad hoc special projects to support overall business needs, including partnering with HR leads on any high priority projects
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a relatable field
- Self-starter and “doer” mentality
- Superior written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Extremely organized and strong attention to detail
- Strong ability to multi-task and juggle projects
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Enthusiastic, willing to roll up your sleeves, and able to troubleshoot to get the job done
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information, records, and reports
- Proficient in G-Suite and Microsoft Office, specifically Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, Powerpoint/Slides
