Job Description Qualifications:
Introduction:
The Operations Maintenance Planner is responsible for providing support to the maintenance team, providing direct control and supervision of all aircraft documentation during aircraft Scheduled maintenance, Unscheduled maintenance, Repairs, Modification work, ensuring all technical data in use is at the correct revision and compiling and auditing task cards. Working with both electronic and hard copy records, responsibilities include auditing, updating and archiving activities.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Maintenance Control and Maintenance Execution teams in daily cadence
- Providing direct control and supervision of all maintenance records
- Updating and managing work cards
- Compiling taskcards and Digital Work Orders
- Printing and preparing workpacks
- Auditing, updating and delivery of the electronic and hard copy records for assigned aircraft as stipulated in the Statement of Work
- Auditing all maintenance paperwork and ensuring errors logged and corrected
- Archiving maintenance workpacks in both paper and electronic formats
- Ensuring the latest Approved Data and Technical Information are being used by the maintenance teams
Work Authorisation:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants.
Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a UK security clearance (SC) for which UK residency is required. All information will be checked and verified.
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Qualifications:
- A good communicator, with a demonstrable ability to communicate technical work requirements
- Capable and experienced in sequencing and controlling demanding workloads, on time, to budget and to the required standard
- Capable of understanding and interpreting Technical data
- Able to demonstrate understanding/knowledge of leadership skills/ styles and the ability to apply them in effective management
- Experience in Technical Records management or Documents Control in a CAMO or Maintenance Repair Organisation
- Military or Civil Aircraft Maintenance experience
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent training programme
- Experience of GOLDesp and Form 700 series (RAF) beneficial
- Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office with the ability to compile and present reports of a technical nature
