Requirements
  • 10+ years as an Executive Assistant supporting C-suite leadership in GovCon
  • High emotional intelligence and strong professional presence
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams
  • Exceptional integrity, discretion and ability to resolve conflicts with minimal oversight
  • Outstanding organizational skills and proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to travel occasionally for key events and offsite meetings
  • Active Top Secret Clearance Preferred
Responsibilities
  • Calendar & Prioritization: Manage and prioritize the CEO’s dynamic calendar; ensure time is aligned with top priorities and anticipate scheduling needs
  • Meeting Preparation: Develop agendas, talking points, and briefing materials; capture follow-ups and ensure accountability across stakeholders
  • Travel & Logistics: Plan and coordinate complex travel itineraries, briefings, and logistics for domestic and international trips. Manage last-minute itinerary changes independently and effectively
  • Communication Support: Manage and coordinate the flow of communications, including emails, calls, and internal/external requests, ensuring the CEO’s time and attention are directed to the most strategic matters. Draft, edit, and manage high-level correspondence, presentations, and reports that reflect the CEO’s voice and organizational priorities. Act as a professional and trusted representative of the CEO’s office in interactions with board members, and senior stakeholders. Ensure clarity, consistency, and timeliness in all communication, while enabling direct access and transparency between the CEO and key partners.
  • Event Leadership: Plan and execute executive events, including board meetings, leadership offsites, client engagements, and internal gatherings. Participate in planning and execution of other internal events, ensuring execution within the CEO’s vision and appropriate executive participation
  • Operating Rhythm: Support the CEO in establishing an effective cadence of meetings, reviews, and communications; keep priorities and deliverables on track
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as a central point of organization and follow-through between the CEO and senior leadership team
