Requirements
  • High school diploma or general educational degree (GED) plus 1 to 3 years of general electrical, mechanical, and/or electronic experience or training or equivalent

  • Mathematical skills: ability to work with probability and statistical inference; apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations; ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry
  • Reasoning ability: define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables; read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets; read electrical wiring diagrams and schematics; plan and document a logical approach to troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and comprehend PLC ladder charts; work in DOS and Windows based computer systems
  • Physical demands: heavy work; as described in job posting (standing, walking, lifting, temperatures, vision, etc)
  • Travel: travel up to 100%, including extended overnight sessions
  • Work environment: exposure to outside weather conditions and moving mechanical parts; noise level usually loud
Responsibilities
  • Direct, supervise and complete team installations and retrofits of Airgas cutting, fixed, and flexible automation equipment
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and complete necessary repairs and perform routine maintenance, tuning and customer training on all types of Airgas equipment and products sold and maintained by the Advanced Fabrication Group
  • Oversee and maintain Airgas Safety standards and procedures as a first step, critical component of every task and job for every team member
  • Travel nationwide with extended overnight stays
  • Represent the Company to customers in a professional and courteous manner; complete service orders in a neat and timely fashion and obtain customer’s signature via current Tech Software electronic ticketing system prior to leaving facility
  • Maintain company provided diagnostic equipment, tools and other equipment in clean, good working condition; calibrations and certifications on equipment kept in date; safeguard and secure all company issued equipment
  • Communicate with National Advanced Fab Manager, National Service Manager and Service Coordinator(s) on job status, daily activities and unsafe conditions in real time through Tech Software database and direct communication; check updates before leaving a job area
  • Communicate with Service Coordinator(s), suppliers, vendors and customers on parts and other required materials; monitor progress of results and deliveries and notify delays when observed or expected
  • Perform all work on Airgas customer equipment per Company procedures; update Tech Software database with activities and results; monitor and meet scheduled appointments; maintain confidentiality with customers
  • Attend all assigned career development training and pass qualifying assessments
  • Follow any other reasonable instructions and perform any other duties as required by supervisor; able to work with little or no supervision
  • Report all business expenses in a timely manner via company policies
  • Wear protective equipment and use trade type tools as needed
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record; maintain company provided vehicles and schedule maintenance
  • Follow Airgas safety procedures and attend monthly safety meetings; ensure safety compliance as condition of employment
  • Work within safety rules and procedures as prescribed by Federal, State, local jurisdiction and Company entities
  • Assist in on-the-job training of department apprentices; consult with all Airgas Service Technicians as requested

Air Liquide launches $565M green bond to refinance hydrogen and sustainability projects

Air Liquide has launched its first green bond issue, raising €500 million to finance and refinance sustainable projects including hydrogen development. The 10-year bond was issued at a yield of 0.461% under the group's Euro Medium Term Note programme. Proceeds will refinance Air Liquide's September 2021 bond maturities and support the company's long-term growth. The issuance follows ambitious sustainable projects announced in March, particularly focused on reducing CO2 emissions. Fabienne Lecorvaisier, Executive Vice-President of Finance and Operations, said the transaction demonstrates investor confidence in Air Liquide's sustainability commitments. Air Liquide raises $793M in inaugural Swiss franc bond issuance

Air Liquide has completed a multi-tranche bond issuance totalling 640 million Swiss francs (approximately €702 million).
