Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • Process Simulation experience (Pro II, Hysis, AspenPlus etc.)
  • To be willing and available to travel domestic and/or internationally
  • Collaborative working ethic
  • Exceptional technical skills and attention to detail
  • Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
  • Articulate communicator who is comfortable clients facing
  • Awareness and consideration of Environmental, Health and Safety importance.
Responsibilities
  • Perform screening, feasibility and conceptual studies for revamping of existing plants, designing of new plants, developing new process schemes, improving existing process flow sheets.
  • Development of process simulations to produce heat and material balances.
  • Development of process flow sheets and utility flow diagrams.
  • Development of equipment process data sheets.
  • Calculations for the preliminary design or rating of equipment and apparatus such as heat exchangers, vessels, reactors, etc. and development of preliminary system design parameters.
  • Preparation of process hydraulic calculations for pump and line sizing.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certification as a Licensed /Chartered Professional Engineer
  • Design knowledge and experience in Syngas technologies, with particular focus on Ammonia, Methanol and Hydrogen processes
  • Competent in ASPENPLUS
  • Previous experience in development of Feasibility Study, Basic Engineering Design Packages (BED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED) for licensed technologies
  • Experience in developing and optimizing process flow schemes
  • Knowledge of process related standards.
  • Presentations skills.
  • Familiarity with operating hydrogen and/or ammonia plants would be considered as a plus.
