Requirements
  • Ability to read and understand technical procedures and instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from supervisors and managers.
  • Experience with assembly of mechanical components.
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time and walk long distances.
  • Ability to work with chemicals while using required aprons, face shields, and specialized gloves.
  • Ability to utilize all required personal protective equipment, including potential use of respirators.
  • Ability to pass required drug screening and background check.
  • Minimum high school diploma required.
  • Ability to frequently stand, sit, use hand and finger dexterity, wear a respirator, and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to continually walk up to 10 miles per day and talk or hear.
  • Ability to occasionally climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, work near moving mechanical parts, work in high or precarious places, and work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move more than 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles, including ladders, stairs, catwalks, and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and respirators.
Responsibilities
  • Adhere to corporate environmental health and safety, quality management system, human resources, and site protocols and procedures.
  • Read and follow written work instructions and procedures, annotating each prescribed step as complete.
  • Handle potentially hazardous materials according to manufacturing and safety procedures.
  • Clean parts using mechanical cleaning and chemical cleaning equipment.
  • Use and help maintain processing equipment, including media blasters, solvent benches, ultrasonic tanks, and ovens.
  • Assemble mechanical components.
  • Receive, inspect, process, package, and transport parts and components according to guidelines.
  • Maintain inventory to ensure proper stocking levels.
  • Keep the work area, equipment, and tools clean and properly maintained.
  • Work in a cleanroom environment while wearing appropriate garments and following stringent micro-contamination protocols.
  • Maintain safety and quality standards while meeting customer and company needs.
