Requirements

12+ years of proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, Data Engineer and/or Data Architect
8+ years proven data modeling skills - must have demonstrable experience designing models for data warehousing and analytics use-cases (e.g. from operational data store to semantic models)
5+ years experience in Tableau or similar BI tools in server architecture , administration and development
5+ years of Data engineering or BI development experience in cloud computing, preferably in AWS
Experience with Snowflake and other Cloud Data Warehousing
Experience with ETL/ELT designs for loading data into the ODS and data warehouse
Experience with the semantic layer and enabling the end users to discover and explore the data
Experience operating in an agile development environment preferred
Good to have experience working in Data science environments
Highly proficient in SQL and python for automation and data manipulation
Capability to conduct performance analysis, troubleshooting and remediation
Self-driven person with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a project team

Responsibilities

Understand complex business requirements and translate into well-architected solutions that remarkably demonstrate the modern BI & Analytics platform
Use highest level of subject matter expertise to provide decisions on data architecture, data modeling, data sourcing, and data quality
Head technical design sessions, and document specifications for BI solutions, platform architecture, and other artifacts
Partner with Data Analyst, Data Engineering and Data scientist to help guide data stack modernization strategy
Manage release deployments for Tableau server
Continuously evaluate the current and future BI & Analytics needs and built out BI architecture (systems, tools, processes) that enables 'self-service', embedded analytics and data exploration
Ability to assess and leverage the strengths of a diverse group of people to maximize team performance
Build prototypes in cloud platform to enable speed of data insight, performance and data governance
Present proposed solution blueprints to the Engineering, Information security and other key stakeholders
Partner with Information Security/IT on data security /CCPA and oher ways to improve on data privacy policies
Partner with Data Engineering team to build a scalable data pipeline architecture that continues to improve on data quality, governance, availability and performance
Partner with Data Analyst team on Tableau server architecture for extract, user access and data source and deployment policies

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Architect to build a world-class data platform and data fabric that enables a data-oriented culture in Curology. This role will focus on long term goals of building out highly scalable data platform that solves for data as a product or data as a service.

In this role, you will:

You will be successful if you have:
