ITAL 290 - 001 – Commedia dell”Arte (3 credits)

Salary: $11 479
Course details: Playhouses, actors, stage techniques, masks and scenarios of the "Commedia Dell'Arte". This course consists of an academic component as well as scripting, directing and organizing a performance. This course is taught in Italian.
Teaching Qualification Requirements: M.A. or Ph.D. in Theatre studies or in Italian studies with specialization or experience in theatre. Native or near-native fluency in Italian and fluency in English.
Experience: Demonstrable experience as instructor of a course at a similar level.
Position Summary:
A Course assignment includes all or part of the following teaching activities:
a) preparation of the Course and Course plan;
b) delivery of the Course;
c) evaluation of students;
d) submitting to the University a report on student attendance and student grades;
e) supervision of Teaching Assistants or any other teaching support staff;
f) upon request, review of their students’ grades;
g) meeting with students, being available to answer questions and give advice concerning Course content and requirements;
Employees shall perform their duties in compliance with the Pedagogical Regulation and as specified in the administrative directives of the Hiring Unit. An Employee shall use appropriate pedagogical methods and material.
