Requirements
  • Employment eligibility: must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada without the need for sponsorship.
  • Travel availability: travel typically ranges from six times per year to a few weeks per month, depending on client need.
Responsibilities
  • Build systems such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitLab.
  • Application development and testing with Go, Java, JavaScript, .NET or Python.
  • Use modern source control management systems and branching strategies.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Work with cloud native technologies such as Kubernetes and Istio.
  • Work with cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud.
  • Implement observability using tools such as Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Grafana or Zipkin.
  • Lead change to remove impediments (political, financial, mental, social) for the adoption of DevOps at all levels.
  • Help teams implement solutions that will enable business objectives.
  • Guide customers to support full end to end automation of software delivery (CI/CD).
  • Training and mentoring others on building solutions and smart developer behaviors (CI/CD/DDD/TDD/BDD).
  • Pushing patterns and practices to minimize future technical debt.
  • Solving complex, hands-on challenges and performing research when dealing with unknowns.
  • Community contribution to open source projects, blogging or conference speaking.
  • Drive knowledge sharing in and out of client engagements.

  • Experience leading DevOps transformations and enabling clients by transferring knowledge, coaching, training, and upskilling.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and navigate ambiguity.
  • Experience with tools and technologies including build systems such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab; Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation; Cloud native technologies such as Kubernetes and Istio; Cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud; Observability tools such as Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Grafana or Zipkin; Modern source control management systems and branching strategies.
