Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Associate's degree plus a minimum of 2 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, or an analytical Go-to-Market/Deal Desk role; alternatively, 4 years of relevant analytical experience without a degree.
  • Demonstrated analytical and financial skills, including a firm understanding of core financial concepts and the ability to explain financial tradeoffs clearly.
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, with experience building intermediate financial models, logic formulas, and scenario analyses.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-velocity requests simultaneously while remaining organized under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, ask clarifying questions, and operate with high integrity.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze deal economics for standard and non-standard agreements, evaluating pricing, discounting, term length, usage commitments, and gross margin impact.
  • Partner with Sales to structure commercially sound deals by analyzing tradeoffs across price, volume, and risk and ensuring alignment with financial guardrails.
  • Build, maintain, and review financial models and pricing scenarios to support non-standard deal requests and senior leadership approval decisions.
  • Own the end-to-end Deal Desk operational workflow in Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote, including quote building, pricing approvals, Order Form creation, DocuSign execution, and opportunity closure.
  • Establish working relationships across Commercial Legal, Billing Operations, Corporate Finance, and Sales to streamline deal velocity during high-volume month-end and quarter-end periods.
  • Educate Sales and Go-to-Market teams and ensure adherence to internal contracting policies, approval matrices, and discount governance.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Legal to review and structure non-standard contract language within Order Forms in alignment with corporate risk and revenue recognition policies.
  • Identify recurring deal patterns, approval exceptions, and operational friction points to improve Deal Desk workflows and system efficiencies.

Twilio brings AI customer engagement tools to Latin America amid fierce competition

Twilio's Q2 revenue jumps 22% to $1.5B, stock surges 15.7%
