Assist in identification, isolation, resolution, and communication of problems within the production and non-production environment and perform troubleshooting
Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing (Jest)
Drive and guide the continuous process improvement initiatives
Define, maintain, and support the development environment, using CI/CD tools (Maven)
Accountable for consistent delivery of functional software - sprint to sprint, release to release
Participates in application level architecture
Develops original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts
Responsible for QA readiness of software work you're doing (end-to-end tests, unit tests, automation)
Responsible for supporting implementation of moderate-scope projects or major initiatives

Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus

Over the past decade, we’ve shipped over 150 products for clients that include Visa, the United Nations, Wells Fargo, Ernst & Young, and TOMS Shoes. Our founders built a previous agency (Monsoon) that was acquired by Capital One in 2015.

We’re working with a major brokerage firm, focused on their Wealth Management business unit. Embedded with our client (there’s an on-site component here 3 days/week) you’ll work on building end-to-end web customer experience from concept to deployment. You will be applying your strong software development and test automation skills to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve customer-facing software solutions.

This role is only partially remote. This role requires on-site work at the client’s location either in Westlake, TX (Dallas / Fort Worth / Denton Metro Area) or Durham, NC; the client will choose one week per month, and you will choose 3 days out of the week selected for on-site work.

You will:

The expertise you have:

5+ years of development experience in Database Development
