Requirements
  • A minimum of 5–10 years of experience as a sales manager, sales representative, or related occupation specifically in business-to-business selling across enterprise accounts.
  • A proven track record of achieving quota and retention targets.
  • The ability to stay organized, pay attention to detail, prioritize, and respond quickly.
  • Negotiation skills related to renewals, upselling, cross-selling, and additional solution add-ons.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management systems.
  • Experience working consultatively with C-level customers on complex software-as-a-service solutions.
  • Extensive customer service experience assessing and evaluating customer needs and satisfaction and meeting specified product and service standards.
  • Experience demonstrating, promoting, and selling products and services.
  • Knowledge and experience with marketing and sales strategy and tactics.
  • Knowledge of administration, business, and management principles.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other analytical or project management tools.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify new sales opportunities within the existing customer base by understanding evolving customer needs and challenges and the OneStream value proposition.
  • Introduce additional products or services that meet evolving customer needs and drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Transfer customer relationship management knowledge internally, manage the sales pipeline, and prepare proposals.
  • Grow the pipeline through direct prospecting and through business partners such as Customer Success, Business Development, Marketing, and Alliances.
  • Provide proactive, consultative guidance that adds value to customer business objectives and supports high retention and net revenue growth.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customers’ market position, products or services, points of difference, and competitive landscape.
  • Convey the OneStream value proposition through written, virtual, and in-person presentations using custom business cases, marketing assets, and customer success stories.
  • Prepare joint business cases aligning prospects’ and customers’ business objectives with OneStream solutions and value proposition to support revenue generation.
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Accurately track and forecast sales opportunities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate knowledge transfer across internal teams and external collaborators.
  • Assess prospect and customer needs for OneStream offerings through research, discovery sessions, and solution demonstrations.
  • Prepare proposals and software-as-a-service agreements for prospects and customers to drive sales.
  • Identify opportunities to expand OneStream use cases within customer accounts and drive additional revenue.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals in response to client and prospect requests.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior sales experience in the software industry, especially in the corporate performance management or enterprise performance management industry.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Working knowledge of accounting, finance, and corporate performance management.
  • A university degree or college diploma in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
