Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics or equivalent
  • Knowledge of object orientated languages (e.g. C++, C#, Java, JavaScript)
  • Ability to learn new technologies and techniques
  • Ability to travel 25%
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of standardized PLC programs for control systems of warehouse automation equipment
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of PLC hardware and software systems
  • Work with site operators to understand and diagnose PLC system issues
  • Develop and execute testing plans to validate PLC systems performance
  • Participate in code reviews and adhere to PLC programming best practices
  • Develop and implement standardized PLC Add-On Instructions (AOIs) to improve code reusability and maintainability
  • Develop and implement HMIs for PLC systems using Ignition software
