GM & Head of Patient Product

We’re looking for a passionate product leader who can drive both top-of-funnel growth and build transformative core experience. You’ll be the GM of Patients and our Marketplace product overall, owning the outcome and P&L of the patient/marketplace business across the organization.. You’ll shape the future of the patient experience here at Headway and across the mental health industry

The patient experience is at the crux of our mission here at Headway to increase affordable access. As the product leader at the helm of the patient charter, you will be responsible for not only setting the vision and strategy to ensure patients are quickly connected to the right quality provider for them but also defining how we move beyond the initial match to be a partner for patients throughout their mental health journey. 

To date, Headway’s growth has come largely from bringing new therapists onto the platform who bring their own patients to the platform. As the business both evolves and scales, the most significant untapped lever for growth is to dramatically increase the number of patients coming directly to Headway to be matched with therapists. This is the number one opportunity to grow the business — and it’s exactly what both patients and providers want. What you’ll do at Headway:

• Own the Patient/Marketplace business and product, including managing the associate P&L. 
• Drive top-of-funnel acquisition and core experience improvements
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable growth
• Deploy cutting-edge LLMs + semantic search to solve highly complex matching problems
• Partner with major health systems with the goal of having every major system in the U.S. referring patients to Headway
• Craft delightful, data-driven product experiences to ensure our patients get high-quality care quickly.
• Develop a vision and strategy for how we engage and support patients throughout their mental health journey.
• Work closely with design, engineering, data, business development, GTM, and other cross-functional partners to learn and ship quickly.
• Deeply understand and embody the voice of our patients while staying close to your team of PMs to quickly build and iterate on products for the patient journey

You’ll be great for this role if you:

• Consumer Product Leader: You have 10+ years of experience building net new consumer growth products or core product experiences with 6+ years of people management experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

The expected base pay range for this position is $297,500 - $350,000, based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for performance-based variable compensation and an equity grant, depending on the position and level.
