Overview:

The Air Force Life Cycle Management/ Unified Platform is responsible for developing and sustaining a cloud-based platform that enables cyber operations across the Department of Defense (DoD). UP provides USCYBERCOM Operational Forces a Joint cyber operations infrastructure enabling full- spectrum cyberspace operations at the operational through tactical levels of warfare as part of USCYBERCOM’s Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture (JCWA). Rackner will be working with UP to provide developer, engineering, and other resources to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of the DevSecOps Platform and Pipeline Services within the Infrastructure Value Stream.

Position Overview/Responsibilities:

Rackner is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team in support of Unified Platform. The Technical Writer will work with internal and external teams who wish to run applications hosted on a UP platform. Will work with all team members to ensure that the software and processes created by the team are well documented and easily understood by software developers and in some cases, cyber operators. 

• Work directly with leadership, software developers and uesrs (cyber operators) to understand their needs, paint points, and perform customer success
• Create documents, diagrams, and instructional resources to assist others in learning how to use resrouces and apply DevSecOps principles to their applications
• Administer and coordinate self-service portal that will apportion cloud resources and monintor resouces, constraints, and budgets

Qualifications:

• Good organizations, data, and analytical abilities
• Exposure to IT concepts like DevSecOps or cloud, and ability to learn these concepts
• Excellent use of time-management
• Strong attention to detail
• Possess leadership skills and works well within a team environment
• Active TS Clearance (SCI eligibility)

Nice to have:

• AWS Cloud Practioner Certified (or ability to achieve it)
