Manager – Core Gas Upgrades ITR

Job Description Summary

The Manager – North America Core Gas Upgrades ITR will lead a diverse team of ITR engineers providing technical solutions for the core, or standard, upgrades space in the Americas region.

This leader will support Global Services business line growth by working closely with sales, commercial operations, and end customers to deliver on-time/budget, creative and differentiated conversions, modifications, and upgrades (CM&U) solutions that ensure customer success and regional growth.

This leader will be responsible for building a new team and optimizing the ITR process through which these core upgrades are quoted and executed, thus reducing engineering cost, and improving margin in this space.

In this role you are expected to continue to drive a culture of continuous improvement for continued optimization of the new process and team structure minding our SQDC objectives.
We own all aspects of technical sales support, engineering project management and fulfillments for these core upgrades across all gas turbine technologies in the North America pole.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Build new team structure to focus on the core gas upgrades space to effectively serve each region's customers and dynamics
• Train and support team members in transition toward ITR ownership
• Own and manage KPI's/metrics unique to the core upgrades space to foster business growth and margin enhancement
• Provide leadership and oversight for a team of ITR engineers to help drive Gas Power services growth for core gas upgrades
• Support customers and commercial teams with technical leadership, including presentations, development of customer solutions, response to customer requests, conferences, and any other initiatives to drive services growth
• Interface across HD Services ITR Engineering, Product Line Management, and design engineering to ensure support of customer requests are fulfilled
• Drive process excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement to continue to drive focus on SQDC and improve contribution margin
• Provide leadership with high integrity and oversight of processes protecting intellectual property, export controlled and strategic technology
• Foster a culture of safety and integrity within the team

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Significant experience within Gas Power Services
• Some experience with direct People Leadership

• Leadership experience in HD Services ITR Engineering
• Strong leadership/interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proven technical knowledge of Gas Power Services ITR processes and upgrades offerings
• Experience working with the sales team and directly with customers

• Proven ability to motivate others and achieve results within matrix environment
• Demonstrated commitment to Lean operations and methods
• Demonstrated aptitude for process installation and change management

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $131,700.00 - $219,300.00 USD Annual . The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. This position will stay open on the career website until at least April 12th. 2025
