Responsibilities
  • Facilitate virtual and/or recorded sessions via a secure platform
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based wellness experiences aligned with VHA Directive 1137 and the Whole Health Initiative
  • Customize sessions for populations with special needs (e.g., elderly, veterans with PTSD or mobility impairments)
  • Maintain cultural sensitivity to veteran populations
  • Ensure confidentiality, professionalism, and a supportive online environment
  • Track attendance where needed and contribute feedback for performance improvement
  • Collaborate with VISN-5 stakeholders for custom wellness programming (events, staff days, etc.)
  • Support VHA’s goals for improved well-being, stress reduction, and burnout mitigation
  • Develop and launch team-based or individual wellness competitions (e.g., hydration, step count)
  • Monitor participation and issue motivational communications to boost engagement
Desired Qualifications
