Requirements
  • 4–7 years of experience in healthcare operations, market development, practice management, management consulting, healthcare development, or implementation-oriented program/project work.
  • Demonstrated experience personally executing complex initiatives in a multi-site or healthcare-services environment.
  • Experience developing business cases, operating analyses, implementation plans, financial assumptions, or executive decision materials.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, work in the field, and travel regularly to practice markets, facilities, and vendor meetings.
Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate, and advance market-growth, capacity-expansion, ambulatory surgery center, facility, service-line, and strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Conduct market research, operational assessment, and financial analysis to determine demand, feasibility, staffing requirements, risks, and expected impact.
  • Build business cases and recommendations that enable leadership to make clear go/no-go decisions.
  • Personally drive approved initiatives forward by completing analysis, coordinating required actions, resolving barriers, and ensuring implementation occurs.
  • Lead hands-on development of ambulatory surgery center, facility, and capacity initiatives, including demand assessment, provider coverage plans, staffing models, workflow design, equipment needs, and launch requirements.
  • Develop and validate operating and financial assumptions; identify gaps and propose corrective actions when results diverge from plan.
  • Work directly with site teams, physicians, vendors, and facilities partners to prepare locations and workflows for launch or expansion.
  • Prepare concise decision materials and implementation recommendations for leadership.
  • Take direct ownership of assigned operating improvements, including patient access, capacity, laboratory, clinical workflow, revenue cycle, and site-readiness initiatives.
  • Develop practical workflows, tools, training materials, readiness checklists, and local implementation plans that enable Regional Business Managers to execute consistently.
  • Visit sites as needed to observe current-state operations, solve implementation issues, support change adoption, and verify that approved changes are working.
  • Monitor outcomes after launch and adjust the approach when performance, adoption, or compliance falls short.
  • Evaluate and implement vendor, technology, and service-line opportunities by defining the operational problem, scope, expected benefit, cost, implementation needs, and success measures.
  • Lead hands-on vendor interactions, requirements gathering, workflow design, testing, training, rollout, and early performance monitoring.
  • Advance initiatives involving laboratory interfaces, clinical workflows, behavioral-health screening, documentation and note locking, UDS standardization, EMG/NCV, pharmacy workflows, and related programs as assigned.
  • Recommend whether to continue, pause, stop, scale, or redesign initiatives based on evidence and operating results.
  • Maintain action-oriented plans for assigned initiatives, including deliverables, owners, deadlines, barriers, and decisions required.
  • Prepare concise executive updates focused on progress, results, risks, and specific decisions or support needed.
  • Track measurable outcomes, including access, utilization, financial performance, compliance readiness, adoption, and efficiency, and remain accountable through benefits realization.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in multi-site physician-practice operations, ambulatory care, pain management, ambulatory surgery centers, laboratory operations, or healthcare services.
  • Experience with ambulatory surgery center or clinic expansion, facility projects, service-line launches, compliance readiness, laboratory operations, information technology, revenue cycle, or vendor implementation.
  • Familiarity with healthcare licensing, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments, inspection readiness, or clinical-workflow environments.
  • Experience using workflow, data-reporting, and productivity tools such as Monday.com, Smartsheet, Asana, Microsoft Project, Excel, or Power BI.
