- Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an American Psychological Association or Canadian Psychological Association accredited program (or equivalent).
- Completion of internship from an American Psychological Association accredited program (or equivalent).
- Completion of at least 1-year postdoctoral training in a clinical setting.
- Strong psychotherapy skills with empirically supported interventions (Required).
- Strong psychological assessment skills (Required).
- Experience providing individual, family and group psychotherapy, clinical supervision and staff consultation (preferred but listed under requirements as part of experience).
- Recently licensed psychologists with strong relevant clinical and supervisory experience may be considered.
- Background in Health Psychology preferred for Medical Psychology positions.
- Experience in academic health care desired.
- Experience with school consultation (Preferred).
- Provide outpatient individual and family psychotherapy, and school based psychological assessment and consultation in a multidisciplinary Child Psychiatry Clinic.
- Provide diagnostic evaluations and focused clinical assessments.
- Deliver psychological interventions and participate in staff consultation.
- Provide teaching to medical students, Psychiatry Residents and Child Psychiatry Fellows; and possibly supervise Psychology Residents.
- Participate in program development and oversight and multidisciplinary organizational initiatives and program evaluation.
- Minimum 3 years post-licensure experience in Clinical Psychology preferred, including experience providing individual, family and group psychotherapy, clinical supervision and staff consultation.
- Experience with school consultation - Preferred.
- Background in Health Psychology preferred for Medical Psychology positions (already listed under requirements)
- Academic health care experience is desirable.
