Requirements
  • Doctorate Degree
Responsibilities
  • Inpatient and outpatient non-invasive cardiology focus with ability to read echocardiography if interested with Level 2 or 3 training
  • Teaching opportunities and mentoring of fellows and residents within the cardiovascular program
  • Participation in industry-leading clinical trials and potential involvement in the Clinical Scholars Program with protected research time and mentorship in outcomes research
  • Shared non-invasive call structure and scheduling considerations as part of the cardiology service line
  • Engagement with the Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute and its cardiovascular team within a physician-led governance model
Desired Qualifications
  • Interest in preventative cardiology, cardiometabolic disease, or cardio-oncology with established clinics and patient bases
  • Expansion focus in pulmonary hypertension and vascular medicine
  • Reading echocardiography with Level 2 or Level 3 training (if not already covered under responsibilities)
  • Experience with clinical research and opportunities for protected research time and mentorship
  • Affiliation with University of Missouri–Kansas City and fellowship programs in General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Structural Intervention, Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular Imaging, Heart Failure/Transplant
