Requirements
  • 3-5 years prior experience
  • Associates / Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience Required
  • Must have Property & Casualty license or obtain within 90 days of employment
Responsibilities
  • Independently drive your own book or be involved with client team on strategy and client deliverables and meeting client expectations (including proposals, stewardship, meetings, special projects etc.)
  • Maintain client relationships independently or in concurrence with client team
  • Inform account team of any significant changes relating to the client
  • Prepare or review materials for discussion with client team / Producer
  • Organize responses and present them to client team / Producer for review
  • Step in to support account team members on any/all functions as needed
  • Assist other Client Managers during high volume times as needed
  • Execute on the deliverables as communicated by the client team
  • Prepare client presentations to include developing meeting agendas, preparing presentation documents
  • Attend and actively participate in client meetings when requested by the Producer
  • Provide new business and renewal support including compiling broker of record letters, participating in internal renewal strategy meetings, transmitting renewal request to client via email or Indio, gathering renewal information from client, performing exposure analysis, sending submissions to market or rates online, performing non-admitted carrier due diligence, performing premium, rate and coverage comparisons, generating/updating fee agreement, finalizing proposal, sending bind order to carrier, receiving binder and transmitting MMA binder to client, performing renewal premium allocation
  • Provide general service support including ordering endorsements/coverage changes, performing audit reviews and addressing discrepancies, providing basic contract review
  • Demonstrate intermediate understanding of available tools (Reference Connect, Playbook, MMA U)
  • Manage a book of business through annual life cycle to include new business, customer service, renewal strategy, delegating to Team Members
  • Broadening carrier relationships with marketing and underwriting
  • Continued development of products/line knowledge and marketing techniques
  • Up to date with current trends, regulations, etc.
  • Intermediate application of prioritization & organizational skills; Proficient Project Management
  • Intermediate and advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint; Excel)

Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree (RMIN, Finance, Accounting) experience a plus
  • Advanced Designation (AAI, CISR, CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU) in progress
  • Experience developing proficiency in managing a book of business through annual life cycle to include new business, customer service, renewal strategy, delegating to Team Members
  • Time management and organizational skills emphasis beyond basic requirements
  • Continued development of products/line knowledge and marketing techniques beyond baseline
