Requirements
  • Must have at least 5+ years experience in the Commercial and/or Industrial sector(s).
  • Electrician I must be able to perform installs, repairs, and maintenance on Commercial and Industrial electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures, and must be apt and skilled in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
  • Electrician I must have experience in wiring, lighting installations, and upgrading electrical infrastructure.
  • Electrician I will have experience in wire pulling and will be knowledgeable of basic voltage colors and panel numbering.
  • Electrician I must be efficient in conduit bending and be able to install, bend, and run over 100 feet of conduit per day without assistance.
  • Electrician I must have a strong understanding of safety procedures, regulatory codes, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Electrician I must be highly proficient in electrical equipment installation and will be competent in mounting electrical equipment precisely to mirror drawing on a work order.
  • Electrician I must be proficient in using hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and diagnostic equipment.
  • This position requires strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, ability to work methodically and meticulously to prevent error, and a keen eye for detail to provide exceptional service to clients.
  • This job requires strong physical capabilities including lifting equipment, operating machinery, standing for extended periods, working in confined spaces, indoors/outdoors in various weather conditions, and the ability to lift 50 pounds minimum.
  • Electrician I will have between 5 to 7 years of practical experience or a combination of practical experience and classroom instruction (vocational/trade/technical school or an apprenticeship such as IEC).
Responsibilities
  • Installs, repairs, and perform maintenance on Commercial and Industrial electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures for Electrician I.
  • Interpret basic to complex drawings or work orders to install, mount, and connect electrical equipment, wiring, and infrastructure for Electrician I.
  • Perform specialized electrical tasks including wiring, lighting installations, and upgrading electrical infrastructure for Electrician I.
  • Carry out wire pulling tasks and ensure correct knowledge of voltage colors and panel numbering for Electrician I.
  • Conduct conduit bending work and install, bend, and run over 100 feet of conduit per day without assistance for Electrician I.
  • Adhere to safety procedures, regulatory codes, blueprints, and technical diagrams in all tasks for Electrician I.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and diagnostic equipment with proficiency for Electrician I.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and meticulous attention to detail to provide quality service to clients for Electrician I.
  • Maintain physical capability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in various environments as required for Electrician I.
  • Possess 5 to 7 years of practical experience or equivalent training for Electrician I.
  • Installs and repairs Commercial and Industrial electrical systems; interprets blueprints and layouts; troubleshoots complex electrical issues; performs preventative maintenance; and installs equipment for Electrician II.
  • Leads and may train or supervise helpers; communicates clearly with other electricians and contractors; lays out work for others as Electrician II.
  • Provides detailed documentation and ensures safety and compliance on the jobsite for Electrician II.
  • Has experience in wire pulling and knowledge of voltage colors and panel numbering for Electrician II.
  • Efficient in conduit bending and able to install, bend, and run over 100 feet of conduit per day for Electrician II.
  • Maintains strong understanding of regulatory codes for Electrician II.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and diagnostic equipment for Electrician II.
  • Able to craft a material list for work to be performed for Electrician II.
  • Possess strong physical capabilities including lifting 50 pounds, standing for long periods, working in confined spaces, and performing tasks indoors or outdoors in varying weather.
  • Shows problem-solving, effective communication, attention to detail, and ability to lead a team of electricians for Electrician II.
  • Has 7+ years of practical experience or equivalent training for Electrician II.
  • It is a plus if you hold an Electrical License (Class II), but it is not required.
Desired Qualifications
  • It is a plus if you are an Electrical License Holder (Class II), but it is not a requirement.
