Requirements
  • Student is working towards bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Advanced mathematical and statistics background
  • Data Analytics experience
  • This is a summer position. Student must be willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the Summer of 2025 (relocation assistance provided for those with a permanent address of greater than 50 miles from Oshkosh, WI).
  • Graduation date of December 2025 or later.
  • A strong mathematical background
  • Experience in reliability & maintainability engineering
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics
  • Prior experience working on or with complex vehicle systems or machinery
  • Experience with Microsoft Access tools, VBA coding, Data base management
  • Experience with PTC products including Windchill, Creo, and Windchill Quality Solutions
  • Experience with Reliability and Maintainability Software (WRR, JAMES, MADE, etc)
Responsibilities
  • Conduct Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
  • Conduct Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
  • Evaluate mission mode profiles as defined by contract and customer orders
  • Develop and exercise reliability mathematical models
  • Analyze test data for failure trends
  • Draft work instructions for maintenance procedures and post-production efforts
  • Identify optimum troubleshooting methods based on built-in test (BIT) equipment and failure probabilities
  • Coordinate with department managers and chief engineers regarding the R&M interface.
  • Special Tool Design for maintenance and troubleshooting for Oshkosh Fleet of Vehicles
  • Review design proposals for impact to vehicle maintainability
