We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented events and campaign project manager to oversee key initiatives for our small but ambitious global marketing team. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally to manage events, campaigns and projects – ranging from small to large scale projects. You will lead event and project management from conception through to completion across various formats. One day it could be an exclusive event, the next it could be a managing a multi-channel campaign.
Responsibilities:
Projects
- Scope, plan, and coordinate resources for projects related to campaigns, events, content and more
- Create detailed project plans and schedules with milestones and timelines
- Communicate with internal stakeholders in departments to ensure deadlines are hit
- Track project progress including actuals vs. plans and prepare reports for Head of Marketing
- Delegate, track and manage the specified project team members when it’s an internal team working on in
- Research external suppliers or agencies when needed and liaise with the chosen ones
- Utilize tools like Asana, Trello, Smartsheet, etc.
- Identify and solve any issues that arise during any of the projects
Events
- Research event ideas, destinations, and venues with an eye on containing costs while upholding company brand standards
- Develop event plans and timelines ensuring seamless execution from venue logistics to internal stakeholder alignment, budget tracking, vendor sourcing, attendee communications and more
- Oversee event promotion across print, digital channels, email campaigns as well as registrations/RSVPs
- Be the main liaison on event day – overseeing the smooth running of the event
- Lead pre & post event activities such as gathering metrics & gathering feedback for future events
- Ensure events comply with all policies, legal regulations, health/safety standards
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience in project or events management within a marketing department
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb project management abilities and exceptional attention to detail
- Strong budget management skills
- Excellent people skills, verbal/written communication abilities; comfortable liaising at all organization levels
- Exceptional time management and problem solving skills
- Willingness to work irregular hours supporting events and travel if required
- Willingness to manage a whole range of projects and events for the marketing team
