Under general supervision, oversee and manage the overall maintenance (buildings and grounds) of assigned facility and/or remote facilities.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and schedule routine preventative maintenance on all building supports systems, such as HVAC, Alarms and security systems, waste hauling, fire control systems, lighting systems, plumbing systems, elevators, building structures, pest control and electrical systems
Inspect grounds and facilities and review maintenance tickets to determine the necessity of repairs or maintenance. Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance, and repairs for properties.
Ensure work done by contractors is completed in a safe and timely manner. Keep maintenance and inspections records up-to-date.
Conduct regular analysis of contracting needs including the assessment of utilization data to identify areas for new or re-negotiated contacts. Interact with vendors as needed for issues relating to contracts, payments, and quality of work performed.
Collaborate with leadership throughout contracting process to provide updates, discuss potential issues, develop and follow up on related action steps.
Purchase maintenance supplies as needed and keep record of inventory.
Support construction, equipment installation, renovation and redesigning projects as needed.
Collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization in order to ensure their facilities maintenance needs are met.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification / Licensure:
Work Experience:
At least 2 years of experience negotiating with outside vendors, including negotiating contracts, prices, resolving service issues and reconciling differences.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
General maintenance or facilities knowledge.
Experience prioritizing workload and scheduling effectively in order to meet deadlines.
Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors.
