Requirements
  • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan to be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer.
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and will be verified during background check in the spring.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and proven leadership and business acumen skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Proficient on basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
  • Work with a variety of technology-focused teams, using your expertise to influence long range goals at Stryker.
  • Contributing ideas from early product concepts through launch, you’ll generate creative solutions that enhance the user experience with our products.
  • You will be responsible for the definition, design and documentation of all user-experience related aspects of the product user interface.
  • You will develop user interface design, including screen layout and navigation, user interface functionality, user notifications, alerts and icons to name a few.
  • You will be an advocate for the end user of our products, partnering closely with industrial design, human factors, marketing, clinical and hardware and software engineering teams to implement and test designed interfaces.
  • Although collaboration is key, you’ll also work independently at times, documenting, implementing and troubleshooting as you ensure deliverables and work products meet and exceed our high standards.
