- Perform laboratory and field tests according to lab manager and research scientist instructions and established engineering standards.
- Collect, prepare, and test samples.
- Set up and operate appropriate laboratory equipment.
- Keep the laboratory clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Keep equipment clean and in good repair, and notify the manager about equipment issues and needed supplies.
- Training, experience, or education in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
- American Concrete Institute Concrete Field-Testing Certification.
- American Concrete Institute Concrete Strength Testing Technician Certification.
