Requirements
  • At least 4 years of software engineering experience, including experience on a Platform, Core, or Infrastructure team at a startup during its Series A or B high-growth phase.
  • Experience as a Product Security Engineer at a startup or deep professional experience building secure-by-default systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Node.js.
  • Experience designing systems proactively to withstand failures under scale.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and own the platform domain.
Responsibilities
  • Own the cloud infrastructure end-to-end by designing and operating it through code, including systems that support the scale, security, and data complexity of an AI-native platform.
  • Establish product security standards across architecture, pipelines, and agent workflows, ensuring AI systems and data environments meet the trust expectations of integrated Managed Service Providers.
  • Build opinionated internal tooling, hardened continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, and clear deployment standards.
  • Implement production-grade monitoring, logging, and alerting, and engineer systems for uptime and early issue detection.
  • Make long-term infrastructure decisions that support scale, modularity, cost discipline, and operational stability.

Titan is a holding company that buys established MSPs and embeds its augmented AI platform into their core operations to shift them from reactive IT support to proactive, tech-enabled partners. The platform layers into each MSP’s existing software stack and uses AI agents to handle routine tasks, freeing human technicians to tackle higher-value work. Unlike typical MSP roll-ups, Titan aims for deep AI integration to improve efficiency and margins, backed by substantial funding. Its goal is to raise service quality, scalability, and the economics of MSPs in the large global market.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • August 2026 RFA launched AI-native MSP services across nine locations and multiple regions.
  • Titan kept hiring in 2026 for engineers, product, M&A, and growth roles.
  • RFA's 400-customer, 100,000-ticket base gives Titan immediate automation volume and data.

What critics are saying

  • RFA integration failures can destroy service quality before Titan proves margin expansion.
  • June 2026 Managed AI launch broadens compliance exposure across Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot.
  • A weak first acquisition would cripple Titan's roll-up thesis and funding narrative.

What makes Titan unique

  • Titan pairs 2025 capital from General Catalyst with in-house AI platform control.
  • RFA's 35-year financial-services MSP credibility gives Titan regulated-industry entry from day one.
  • Titan sells an AI-enabled MSP roll-up, not a generic PE consolidation play.
