Requirements
  • Be working towards AS/BS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related engineering field
  • Familiarity with CNC equipment in general
  • Familiarity with metal removal tools
  • Familiarity with CNC programming a plus
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings
  • Work well independently and as a team member
  • Be creative and possess superior organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills
  • Be at his/her best when working in a fast-paced environment demanding a proactive, “get it done” approach
  • Have a bias toward learning and a bias toward action
Responsibilities
  • Actively work as a member of the CNC production/engineering team in documentation, standardization, production support, and new product support as well as CNC programming and debugging
  • Work with operators, engineers, managers to optimize CNC processes
  • Assist technicians when troubleshooting production equipment
  • Perform DOE's and optimize existing manufacturing processes
