Responsibilities

• Actively work as a member of the CNC production/engineering team in documentation, standardization, production support, and new product support as well as CNC programming and debugging.
• Work with operators, engineers, managers to optimize CNC processes.
• Assist technicians when troubleshooting production equipment.
• Perform DOE’s and optimize existing manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Be working towards AS/BS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related engineering field.
• Familiarity with CNC equipment in general.
• Familiarity with metal removal tools
• Familiarity with CNC programming a plus.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Work well independently and as a team member.
• Be creative and possess superior organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
• Be at his/her best when working in a fast-paced environment demanding a proactive, “get it done” approach.
• Have a bias toward learning and a bias toward action.
