Banner Health earns third consecutive Great Place to Work Certification(TM).

Banner Health earns third consecutive Great Place to Work Certification(TM). Wed, July 22, 2026 Banner Health, one of the nation's largest fully integrated nonprofit health systems and Arizona's largest private employer, is proud to be Certified(TM) by Great Place To Work(R) for the third year in a row. The prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at Banner. This year, 84% of employees said it's a great place to work, which is 27 points higher than the 57% national average. This is a particularly notable achievement in an industry facing unprecedented workforce challenges. Great Place To Work(R) is an authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver employee retention and increased innovation. "This recognition reflects our amazing team that is dedicated to caring for our communities," said Amy Perry, president and chief executive officer of Banner Health. "While the U.S. health system faces unprecedented turnover and burnout, the compassion and professionalism of Banner's team members cultivate nationally recognized retention rates and wellbeing scores. We value our One Team working together with purpose, and we demonstrate our support through inclusion, workforce investments, career development, tech innovation, and community service." Banner's workplace excellence stems from concrete investments that give team members the tools and support to succeed: fully funded education programs, comprehensive training pathways from entry-level to advanced practice, and technology solutions that reduce administrative burden and restore time for patient care. As Arizona's largest private employer supporting 140,000 jobs and training more than 1,300 residents and fellows annually, Banner is simultaneously building tomorrow's healthcare workforce while ensuring today's team members have what they need to thrive in their roles. The Great Place to Work Certification is based entirely on employee feedback. Banner Health's survey results from 5,000 randomly selected team members show significantly higher satisfaction compared to other U.S. companies: 90% feel welcomed when joining Banner, 88% feel pride in what the organization accomplishes together, 88% feel good about how Banner contributes to communities and say they have the resources and equipment needed to do their jobs, and 87% feel they are able to take time off when necessary. Banner Health's workplace excellence has earned national recognition beyond the Great Place to Work Certification. The organization was also named to the FORTUNE Best Workplaces in Health Care list, further validating that it is creating an environment where team members can thrive while delivering world-class care to patients and communities. Closer to home, the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently named nonprofit Banner Health the state's Corporate Citizen of the Year, recognizing Banner's role as Arizona's largest private employer and its commitment to community health and economic vitality. About Banner Health As one of the nation's largest fully integrated nonprofit health systems, we are pioneering a sustainable care model that prioritizes prevention, manages chronic disease, and reduces health spending - succeeding when patients stay healthy, not when they get sick. Accountable to the communities we serve, we reinvest every dollar into advancing care, research, and facilities, providing more than $1 billion each year in community benefit. Through our partnership with the University of Arizona, we drive clinical discoveries across more than 800 trials and train more than 1,300 residents and fellows annually. Headquartered in Arizona, we serve Arizona, California, Colorado, Nebraska, Nevada, and Wyoming. Our hospitals are consistently ranked among Arizona's top-performing by U.S. News & World Report. Techcyte announces go-live of Fusion Parasitology Suite at Sonora Quest Laboratories.

Techcyte announces go-live of Fusion Parasitology Suite at Sonora Quest Laboratories. OREM, UT, UNITED STATES, July 13, 2026 / EINPresswire.com / - Techcyte today announced that Sonora Quest Laboratories, one of the largest integrated laboratory systems in the United States, has gone live with the Techcyte Fusion(R) Parasitology Suite (for research use only). As a joint venture between Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics, Sonora Quest Laboratories plays a key role in delivering diagnostic services throughout the western U.S. The organization's adoption of AI-assisted digital workflows reflects a continued focus on evolving laboratory operations in response to changing staffing and testing demands. Like many laboratories, Sonora Quest Laboratories has experienced challenges in recruiting and retaining technologists for ova and parasite (O&P) screening. The implementation of Techcyte's platform represents a step toward modernizing this workflow through digital slide review and AI-assisted analysis. The Techcyte Fusion Parasitology Suite is designed to support laboratories with AI-assisted identification of parasites on digitized slides, enabling a more standardized and streamlined review process. The platform integrates digital slide viewing, case management, and AI into a unified workflow that can support both routine testing and reference lab services. "Laboratories are navigating a complex environment where staffing, volumes, and expectations continue to shift," said Dr. Tiffany Chen, Chief Medical Officer at Techcyte. "We're encouraged to see organizations like Sonora Quest Laboratories taking a structured and forward-looking approach to digital workflows in microbiology." "Through the implementation of the Techcyte Fusion Parasitology Suite, our laboratory has accelerated turnaround times for stool Ova and Parasite examinations and enabled our laboratory professionals to focus on additional critical responsibilities across the department," said John-Michael Krasovic, Lab Manager, Microbiology at Sonora Quest Laboratories. "This reflects our commitment to adopting innovative AI solutions that elevate operational efficiency and strengthen clinical quality." While the initial deployment focuses on parasitology, the organizations are collaborating on a longer-term strategy to scale digital workflows across several other microscopy tests. Techcyte is proud to support laboratories like Sonora Quest Laboratories as they navigate evolving staffing and operational demands through digital workflows. Hyundai and Banner Children's continue partnership to improve Child Passenger Safety in Arizona.

Hyundai and Banner Children's continue partnership to improve Child Passenger Safety in Arizona. Formations cybersécurité * $25,000 Hyundai Hope donation expands Banner Children's Car Seat Safety Program * Second-year partnership delivers education-first child passenger safety services across the East Valley MESA, Ariz., April 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Hyundai Motor America is extending its commitment to child passenger safety in Arizona through a second-year partnership with nonprofit Banner Children's at Desert. The $25,000 Hyundai Hope donation to Banner Children's Car Seat Safety Program will further expand access to car seat safety education and installation services for families across the East Valley. A Continued Commitment to Child Passenger Safety The contribution is part of Hyundai Hope, the corporate social responsibility initiative of Hyundai Motor America, dedicated to improving health, safety, and overall community well-being. Since the partnership began in 2025, Banner Children's has expanded the Car Seat Safety Program, providing caregiver classes at the hospital and extending outreach into schools to help families use car seats correctly. Banner Children's has also collaborated with a local adoption agency to promote safety education and access to car seats for caseworkers who transport children. This year's funding will help the hospital continue outreach to Title I schools and additional community agencies. "Protecting children on the road starts with ensuring families have the right information and support," said Cole Stutz, chief safety officer, Hyundai Motor North America. "Through our continued partnership with Banner Children's, we're helping deliver trusted, expert-led guidance that empowers caregivers to make safer choices for their youngest passengers." Why Child Passenger Safety Education Matters Child passenger safety depends not only on having the right car seat, but also on using it correctly. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that nearly half of all car and booster seats are not used correctly, often due to improper installation. Banner Children's Car Seat Safety Program helps address this challenge through an education-first approach that supports proper use and provides car seats to families in need. "Our Car Seat Safety Program provides not only car seats and installation assistance for families in need, but also vitally important injury prevention education," said Laura Robertson, CEO, Banner Desert Medical Center. "It is thanks to generous partners like Hyundai that we can continue to provide this support to the kids and families we care for in our hospitals. We are exceedingly grateful for this gift." A Car Seat Safety Program with Longstanding Impact Banner Children's first implemented the Car Seat Safety Program in 1998 as part of its injury prevention efforts and was among the first organizations in the nation to offer this training. The program provides classes for families to learn about the effects of collisions, different types of car seats, and proper installation and use in their vehicle. Through trusted safety advocates and hands?on guidance, the program helps caregivers make well-informed decisions that support safer environments for children of all ages.
