  • Intellectually curious, open-minded, and enjoy working in a fast changing environment
  • A natural communicator, who focuses just as much on the delivery and the “so what” of your insights, as you do on the technical craft of extracting them
  • Effective at building strong, influential relationships with colleagues and partners, with demonstrated success in delivering impactful insights to executives
  • 8+ years of experience in a marketing analytics and/or data science role, with at least 2+ years of people management experience
  • Strong analytical skills, including analysis and modelling of big data using SQL, Python and/or R, statistics, A/B testing, and experimental design required
  • Experience building data visualizations and dashboards (e.g., Tableau or similar BI solution)
  • Comfortable working on a globally distributed team
  • Partner with Marketing leadership in strategy development, goal setting and budget planning
  • Perform analyses on large sets of data to extract actionable insights that will drive decisions around our global marketing investments
  • Provide end to end campaign support, spanning from pre-campaign goal setting and measurement plan development, to in-campaign performance insights and optimization recommendations, to post-campaign evaluation and lessons learned
  • Define experimentation roadmap based on performance to identify new growth opportunities for our marketing investments
  • Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to non-technical audiences, through clear visualizations and presentations
  • Lead a team of Data Scientists in MCIs pursuit of becoming a world class insights support team for our marketing partners
  • Partner with the other MCI leads and their teams on projects supporting Spotify's broader marketing organization
