Requirements
- 4-year degree in engineering, science, project management, or facilities management, preferred
- Required: 10+ years of experience in an industrial facilities environment, with 5 years in supervisory position, leading and managing technicians within a facilities environment
- Preferred: 15+ years of experience in a facilities environment, with 10 years in supervisory position
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to personally represent the group in all matters to executive levels (internal and external)
- The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills required to interface with stakeholders across the SAS Facilities, Engineering, and Construction organizations to both sustain regular operations and complete large scale expansion projects
- The candidate must demonstrate effective decision making to ensure proper outcomes are realized based on site priories (safety - quality - production - cost)
- Ability to independently multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of standard practices of the Electrical trade
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience developing and improving work processes using Six Sigma and/or LEAN principles
- The candidate must be skilled in applying data analysis to determine root causes of equipment issues, and to drive improvement in operations, projects, and equipment reliability
- Familiarity with design and installation of electrical distribution and support equipment (switchgear, transformers, UPS, etc.)
- Strong capability to work with Microsoft Office tools (excel, PowerPoint, word, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis including Pivot Tables, data source linking through VLOOKUP, and simple script creation
- Ability to thrive in a multi-culture environment
- Experience reading and/or writing technical specifications
- Experience overseeing projects and providing technical guidance

Responsibilities
- Leadership and participation in safety initiatives, programs, and activities to drive world class performance
- Provide leadership for our supervisors, operators, electricians, technicians and contractors in strategic and tactical activities within our power supply facilities
- Mentor and guide direct reports (supervisors) to utilize collaborative communication and coordination with technicians and shareholders (systems engineers and management) in day-to-day operations
- Drive improvements in equipment and part management, employing lean principles effectively
- Support engineering teams responsible for growth of the site and management of system utilization, availability and redundancy
- Support maintenance teams responsible for equipment planned and unplanned maintenance
- Support tool hookup and FAB unit parts responsible for production supply and ramp
- Develop and manage annual expense budgets and spare parts inventory
- Manage monthly expense spending and service contracts
- Support commercial negotiations and establishment of terms related to services and projects
- Establish and reinforce site and team goals
- Drive improvement through vision and effective resource management and prioritization
- Anticipate future needs and guide the organization towards effective strategies
- Advance and support Facilities strategies and initiatives for improved safety, reliability, and performance
- Provide innovative and forward-thinking to drive industry-leading strategies
- Provide effective representation of the department and the site for commercial and strategic considerations with current and prospective vendors and contractors
- Serve as an ideal representative of the department and site to external groups and agencies
- Collaborate and drive understanding and strategy with all Samsung FABs globally (Korea, China)
