- Assessment skills are required, including height and weight measurement, interpretation of laboratory results, obtaining vital signs, patient health questionnaire/history/allergies, and pulse oximetry.
- Cardiovascular skills are required, including cardiac arrest response and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Office-duty skills are required, including pharmacy calls, patient refill requests, and telephone triage.
- Professional knowledge and skills are required in biohazard waste disposal, follow-up phone calls, medication refills, and patient teaching.
- Additional required skill: labor and delivery.
- Provide specialized nursing care to women across the lifespan, including prenatal, postpartum, gynecological, and reproductive health needs.
- Assess patients, administer medications and treatments, provide education and support, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to promote safe, high-quality patient care.
- Perform simple workups, including blood pressure measurement and history of present illness collection, and place patients in examination rooms.
- Ability to draw blood.
