Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing functionality of building systems and equipment.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility repairs, renovations, and upgrades.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to mitigate risks and promote a safe working environment.
  • Conduct safety training and drills for employees and maintain emergency response plans.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand space requirements and plan for office layout and utilization.
  • Manage office moves, relocations, and space allocations to accommodate organizational needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of space inventory, allocations, and utilization.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facilities-related services, including janitorial, security, and landscaping.
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and expense tracking.
  • Lead and mentor facilities staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for skills development and career advancement for team members.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Facility Manager, Facilities Management Professional, etc.) are desirable.

American Express Forms Data Sharing Partnership With Mx

American Express has formed a deal with financial data company MX Technologies, giving their users access to improved financial management capabilities. The API-powered data access agreement will offer customers new digital banking options by connecting their American Express accounts with third-party financial institutions and FinTech apps through MX, the companies said in a Thursday (Nov. 7) news release. By integrating these apps through MX, customers gain more transparency and control over where and how their American Express account data is shared, the release said. Customers can utilize American Expresses’ secure authentication procedures and avoid sharing their credentials, maintaining their privacy while improving data accuracy and reliability, and speeding up access to financial data
