Executive Engagement Manager
The Opportunity:
As the Executive Engagement Senior Manager, you will develop and execute against an engagement and industry research strategy for the Chief People Officer. You will make immediate impact by understanding the external industry of HR and Talent, including key stakeholders and forums, to inform how we position and communicate our work in the marketplace. You will drive dynamic change as we establish the approach, messaging and mediums to share the Chief People Officer’s thought leadership, research, strategies and stories. You will learn the Chief People Officer’s vision and voice to draft communications, speaking notes, or presentations for internal and external use. You will be the Chief People Officer’s right hand engagement support and prepare them for conferences, events, interviews, presentations and other engagements. You will understand our Culture, Employer Brand and Talent Strategy and use it to identify and vet speaking, interview, and publication opportunities. You will amplify and maintain the Chief People Officer’s social media presence, planning, posting and tracking impact metrics. You will define and plan the Chief People Officer’s methods and cadence for engaging with the firm at large, firm leadership, and other internal groups. You will build creative solutions to make the most of new and different engagement opportunities, while working with the offices of other Leadership Team members to ensure we present and engage consistently.
You will partner closely with corporate communications teams to ensure messaging and storytelling aligns with the company’s verbal identity - ensuring consistent messaging across all written content. Additionally, you will work closely with People Services teams to understand and value our people programs and priorities that inform content for engagements and communications. You must be a creative, self-starter and team player energized by being resourceful, comfortable with working through ambiguity, and excited to build something new. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are required to keep and share information in a timely manner, as needed, with the Chief People Officer’s People Services Leadership Team and other support roles. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:
10+ years of experience with corporate communications, speechwriting, government public affairs, or public relations
Experience capturing Executive Leadership’s voice effectively and ensuring communications resonate for the targeted audience
Experience performing independent research, verifying facts rapidly, and producing outputs on tight deadlines
Experience using Office365 Product Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
Ability to write in a clear, non-technical, accessible, compelling, authentic, and accurate way about a broad range of Human Capital topics
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive material concerning the organization and the executives within the organization
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or Communications
Nice If You Have:
Experience building strategies and working with C-suite Executives
Ability to build trusting relationships and networks
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $122,200.00 to $227,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
