About us: The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) is responsible for providing services to Oklahomans who are affected by mental illness and substance abuse. ODMHSAS strives to provide persistent, incremental improvements in the quality and effectiveness of treatment which results in better recovery for more Oklahomans. Our state-operated facilities are commissioned to provide services that promote consumer empowerment, wellness, recovery, and integration in the community.
Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health (TCBH) is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and provides a supportive, safe and welcoming environment in which an array of integrated therapeutic interventions promotes an improved quality of life for consumers and the community. TCBH serves individuals eighteen years of age or older who present in a mental health crisis with or without substance abuse and are determined medically stable.
About the Position: Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health is currently recruiting for a Behavioral Health Case Manager II. This position works with consumers on our inpatient units acting in the role of Care Coordinator. The position involves case management, discharge planning, running psychoeducation groups, and participation in treatment teams. Collaboration with clinicians, physicians, and external community resources is essential to the role.
Job Type/Salary:

- Annual Salary is $47,750 + (based on experience and certifications)
- Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
- FLSA Status: Non Exempt

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Have a minimum of thirty-six (36) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and possess a High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or High School Equivalency (HSE) Credential;
OR
Have completed sixty (60) college credit hours and have a minimum of twelve (12) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder;
OR
Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field earned from a regionally accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and have a minimum of six (6) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder;
OR
Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a behavioral health related field earned from a regionally accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE);
OR
Have a current license as a registered nurse in the State of Oklahoma with documented experience in behavioral health care.
- Offer of employment is conditional on becoming a certified CM II within 30 days.
Special Requirements:
Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
